1953 Pontiac Chieftain
I fell in love with this red 1953 Pontiac Chieftain when I saw it at a local car show. The Chieftain was Pontiac’s upscale model, replacing the 1948 Pontiac Torpedo. It was producted from 1949 to 1958 and came in a variety of body styles, including hardtop, convertible, and station wadon. Dashboards were given Panorama View instrument clusters.
